I don't really listen to music like this as much anymore, but listening to Newcastle-based Young Liar I'm reminded of why my old, 17 year-old self fell in love with this kind of music in the first place. When I first played this track I was practically overcome with nostalgia, sounding pretty similar to bands like Errors, Mogwai and even (a very young) Foals it's actually quite refreshing to delve back into music that thrives on blending complicated guitar rhythms and energetic drums. Available to stream below is the third track from the quintet's new EP, 'EP2' out 26th March via The Calico Print lab:
