Earthquake Island is a Tokyo-based producer, he's just released his 3rd EP What a Simple Day Mr Frog, and yeah; the record is just as surreal as the name. It's odd, the beats are irregular as hell and this alone would probably send you into a complete mind-fuck if you'd never heard anything like this before. That's basically why I really like it, there's also some really cool samples thrown in there to add a nice element of ambience too. You can stream/download my favourite track from the EP below:
