I have quite a few friends who would totally disagree with me when I say that remixes can sometimes be way more beautiful and way more powerful than the originals they stemmed from. But take a listen to Fryars transform Heavy Feet - a cut from the new Local Natives album - from a gently wallowing but generically sad song, into a beautifully unhinged, sad one.
