Everything Blackbird Blackbird touches turns into a warm ball of happy summery joy. He also has this rare talent in which he can put out new music pretty frequently without it sounding churned and same-old-same-old. He always has something new to give, which is why he's one of my absolute favourites. So this is his new track Happy With You, it's taken from the forthcoming Boracay Planet EP which I really hope is released some time soon.

Cuushe

This just came up on shuffler.fm (God bless shuffler). It's part of a new EP from the dreamy Japanese songstress titled Girl you know that I am here but the dream, her first release since her debut album Red Rocket Telepathy 3 years ago.
What's so beautiful about Cuushe's sound is the use of her voice not just as an accompaniment to her music but as an instrument itself, all in all it's pretty breathtaking stuff. Also, Julia Holter, Teen Daze and Blackbird Blackbird have all contributed remixes to the EP so it's probably going to be pretty difficult to ignore.

Steffaloo

Who is Steffaloo? I really want to know, because she's been featuring in pretty much everything recently. Her voice has graced it's presence on tracks by Blackbird Blackbird, Sun Glitters & Billy Comfort this past year. It's obvious to see why everyone's wanting to work with her, her voice has a calm to it which is fascinatingly beautiful, and basically I can't get enough of her.
