Plastic Plates

As it's quarter past 12 on a Friday morning it seems fitting to post something for the weekend. This comes from New York music-maker Felix Bloxsom, otherwise known as Plastic Plates & is released today via Sweat it Out.

Sioux Lion

It's time to indulge in a delightful bit of pop. This is Water comes from NY's Sioux Lion; the first 2 and a half minutes of this song are nice enough, with a sort of 90's R&B/N*Sync vibe as gentle vocal exchanges are made between male and female. But 2:30 onwards is where it gets exciting, as the track progresses into a complete state of  genre-hopping ecstasy that you cannot help but smile and nod a long to. Take a listen below:

Cream Dream

I heard this track called Get Down being played at a party the other day, my instant reaction was like 'damn this is GOOD!', and this is how I came to know of New York producer Cream Dream. It turns out that he makes a bunch of cool stuff that's consistently good.  Inspired by disco/French House, "late nights and palm trees" (his words not mine) it's really fun in a mid-90s kind of way.
