Mary Cassidy & Jon Lawless

When two voices fit together like bread and butter, I like to think that there's no other explanation for these musicians meeting other than pure fate. Mary Cassidy & Jon Lawless are a new duo from Guelph, Canada who were certainly destined to make music together. You can grab a free download of their rather beautiful new single Crowded House, which borrows a nice little sample from Chad Valley's Evening Surrender.

Moon River

Moon River is the DC based solo project from a guy called Aidan Eubanks. His sound is super dreamy, but dreamy in a non-repetitive way - he says himself that he's inspired by everything from hip-hop to shoegaze which means there's a refreshing versatility to his music which I kinda like.
