Oceaán
To Lose is taken from Oceaan's hugely anticipated self-titled debut EP out March 31st via Chess Club Records. Dancing along similar territories to the likes of SOHN & James Blake, no surprises if this guy becomes one of the most celebrated artists of 2014.
TCTS
Tonight I'm lucky enough to be seeing Chic, Maribou State, Hot Chip & TEED at the Warehouse Project - I'm so excited it's unreal. Continuing with the whole Mancunian theme, I thought I'd share Greco Roman's latest from Manchester-based producer TCTS. Over has all the makings of a perfect Friday night track - work and commitments can banish the mind to make way for freedom to enter and erupt within. Enjoy everybody:

Pále
After two straight days of hating everything that's been thrown at me, the new one from Pále is so wonderful to hear. All Silver is sort of reminiscent of Gold Panda, the Lucky Shiner vibe is more than audible with dreamlike vocal samples that cut and weave through a beat that flutters so gently and makes me oh so happy. Stay+
Heavy Brandy throwback here from Stay+, a pretty fine export from my own home town. In true Mancunian style this R & B classic has been stripped of it's clean exterior to reveal something a little more rough around the edges & just that little bit more playful. Stream & download below:
No Ceremony ///

I really like No Ceremony, they come out with the most amazing sounds and I'd find it extremely hard to categorize them with or compare them to anything else. But still, after 12 months of releases I have no idea who they are.
Revisit 'Deliverus' here.
Drops

If there was ever a track to say 'welcome to British summer time everybody', I think this would be it. This is the new release from Drops, it's called You Have My Word and it's coming out at the end of the month on a DIY label from my home town called heat death records. It's such a pretty track fitting in nicely somewhere between the happy folky vibes of Stornoway and a more English-y Summer Heart, with a bit of Tunng thrown in there for good measure. Good mix yes? Though I am avoiding the term 'folktronica' as much as possible, that's pretty much what it is. Stream the track below and see what you think:

Batty Knee Dance
For those of you who aren't familiar, I'm from Manchester (UK), and so is The Warehouse Project. It's been going since 2006 and is what can only be described as a 3 month orgie of great music. In it's time it's seen the likes of Hot Chip, Deadmau5 & M.I.A pass through it's doors.
This year will be the last at it's founding venue, Store St. So it's going to be absolutely huge. WHP posted the following on their site:
"After five incredible years beneath the streets, the last ever Warehouse Project event at Store Street will finish in the early hours of January 2, 2012. Within 48hrs all evidence that WHP ever existed in that space will be gone, nothing remaining to give any indication that hundreds of thousands of people passed through those doors.
The idea was always to keep things fresh. While The Warehouse Project certainly found its first proper home in this venue, it feels like when the curtain comes down on the 2011 series it will be time to shake things up again. Exactly how, where and when the WHP will return is not yet set, but one thing for sure is that this is The End of Store Street.
This last party will take the form of a seventeen-hour marathon taking us into 2012.
Thank you to everyone who has made it so special."
I've just booked tickets for at least 4 of the shows, I don't need to describe how excited I am. Here's just a taste of what to expect:
