Atomnation's David Douglas returns after his stunning 2012 debut with promise of a new EP out January 27th and a debut full-length out some time later this year. On both is the wonderfully effervescent Higher which you can stream below:

I just found some great music from a Dutch producer called David Douglas. He shares his name with a plant hunter botany guy from the 1800's and this is apparently who his music takes inspiration from, so 21st century David is 'looking for his own musical seeds'. I'm not sure how I feel about that line but DD does seem to have this whole nature theme going on, the recently released EP that this track is taken from is called Royal Horticultural Society but I do kind of get the message within it all, the idea of discovery and opening of the mind through music is the ultimate goal for a lot of musicians right?
