Tonight I'm lucky enough to be seeing Chic, Maribou State, Hot Chip & TEED at the Warehouse Project - I'm so excited it's unreal. Continuing with the whole Mancunian theme, I thought I'd share Greco Roman's latest from Manchester-based producer TCTS. Over has all the makings of a perfect Friday night track - work and commitments can banish the mind to make way for freedom to enter and erupt within. Enjoy everybody:
If you're in the UK, you've probably heard this already, but if you're elsewhere then you definitely need to get hold of this. This particular track is called Gabriel, and it's byJoe Goddard, who you may be familiar with as the creative genius behind Hot Chip. 'Gabriel' has been out a couple of weeks already but I haven't had the chance to post about it yet. It's so infectious, the edgy beats create a kind of euphoria that's ideal for a club. As well as this, we're provided with some pretty gripping vocals from Valentina, which really serve as the icing on the cake. I've never been a fan of Hot Chip, but this song is absolutely amazing, I have to say that it's an essential for anybody. Here's the video for 'Gabriel':
