Catalonia's finest John Talabot celebrated his birthday yesterday by offering up a free download of a demo track. Apparently it's unfinished, and he lost the files to continue with it - but that doesn't hinder it in any way from being classed as a complete Balearic gem. Happy belated birthday JT! Download below:

I think it goes without saying that both Coexist & John Talabot & Pional's album Fin were highlight releases from this year. JT & Pional are currently supporting The xx on tour and with that comes this stunning remix of Chained in which homage is paid to The Streets Blinded By the Lights. Stream below:
