ILNL's tracks of 2013 :: Part 1
It's here! The obligatory end of year best-of list! So this is part 1 of 2 - the tracks that had me obsessing and drooling over them continually throughout 2013.
Thanks for a great one everybody:

MunDane
I just received my first taste of NYC producer MunDane, and I like it a lot....like a lot a lot. He's just released an EP called Small Apartment which can only really be described as a beautiful and interesting exploration of electronic sound. Already I'm a big fan, you can stream a couple of tracks taken from the EP below:
Also worth checking out is this super nice Blue Hawaii remix, in which he really does justice to what I personally think is the best track of the year (so far).

Clouds Rennuredalb
This is a post that bares absolutely no sense of continuation from the previous one whatsoever, but it does cover two of my favourite subjects: Blue Hawaii, and remixes. Take a listen to Clouds Rennuredalb's insane rework of In Two below:

I don't think I have the verbal capacity to express just how much I'm into Blue Hawaii at the minute. They've just put together this remix of Majical Cloudz' wonderful track Turns Turns Turns, which I'm listening to through very good headphones and all I can think to say is holy shit. When I hear people from Montreal making music like this it makes me want to go there so badly. Bass-heavy, dark as hell pop & signed to Arbutus Records - remind you of anyone? Blue Hawaii's debut LP Untogether will be out January 2013, for now go ahead and stream the amazing In Two below:
