Darkside

Dave Harrington's hour long mix for Modular hit the internet today (which you can grab here), it opens with this stunning Nick Drake cover he put together under his now infamous pairing with Nicolas Jaar, Darkside. Featuring vocals from Tamara , it's an eerily mesmerising cover of the Pink Moon classic.

Toby Gale

Dave Harrington

Listening to one half of Darkside remix the other is as amazing as it sounds; this Dave Harrington remix of Nicolas Jaar's Why Didn't You Save Me is unbelievably good. Stream below & keep an eye out for the forthcoming Darkside album which is released October 8th.

Jungle

Jungle's sound is pretty close to addictive. Somewhere in the way that Drops is put together, I'm reminded a little of Nicolas Jaar, and those vocals package it all together ever so neatly to create one of the most likeable styles I've ever heard. Take a listen below:

On paper, the idea of remixing a Grizzly Bear track sounds like a such a bad idea. But then when you learn that the guy doing the remix is Nicolas Jaar, it's a pretty set thing that whatever you're about to hear is probably going to be pretty fantastic. And no matter how big a Grizzly Bear fan you are, I promise you that this remix of Sleeping Ute is worth a listen. Stream below:

Nicolas Jaar

The music being circulated around the internet today is unbelievable. I should really be sleeping, but instead I've instantly become hooked on Nicolas Jaar's sweet little 2-track EP which he released earlier today. If you're not too familiar with Nicolas, then 'Don't Break My Love' is the perfect introduction. It's set to be released on vinyl exclusively, but the best thing about it is that it's completely and legitimately free to download here for all those without a table:
