Lower Spectrum
Lower Spectrum has teamed up with label Feral Media for the 4th & final instalment of their Seasons EP series. For me, Fall is a fantastic introduction to the Melbourne based producer - beautifully arranged, energetic & above all interesting - fans of Four Tet, Caribou etc. will love this one too.
Harbours
Here's something new and wonderful from Melbourne's Harbours. It's a minimal affair which spreads itself out across vast textures and layers in the most pleasant of ways and is up for a free download (waheeyyy), grab it below:

L'umanoide
Big love to Believe in Sound for introducing me to this track from Aussie duo L'umanoide. Their Civil/Excursion 7″ was recently released through Mojikit, the label who were responsible for releasing that excellent debut EP from Harbours. Give Civil a listen below:

Azure Maya
Apologies for the recent inactivity, I've just graduated from university so everything's been pretty hectic lately. I am however returning back to normal with a very good track from Melbourne's Azure Maya which seems to capture the whole mood of my weird transitional state exceptionally well. Stream and download below:
Flash Forest
This is the new one from Mebourne's Flash Forest, and it sounds a hell of a lot like summer. Grab a free download below & go enjoy doing whatever it is you're doing:
P o o l s.
This has been on my playlist for a while now, but for some reason I never got round to putting it up here. Anyway, Pools come from Melbourne and they make ridiculously calming music that's kinda useful for collecting thoughts and all that sort of stuff. You should download Maddi below, and look out for their Onset EP which is to be released May 1st. Enjoy:
I'lls
I'd been trawling through recommendations and submissions all day to little avail until I found this from Melbourne trio I'lls. It's peaceful, it's magical, and it's the first track to be taken off of the forthcoming EP A Warm Reception - I couldn't ask for much more from a piece of music right now. Take a listen to the beautiful Plans Only Drawn below & look out for the EP in the near future (May, to be precise) out on Yes Please:
Casper Zazz
I avoid making a deal about the age of people making the music I share on here, but I'm nearly 21 years old and still trying to find my 'talent' in life, Casper Zazz are a Melbourne trio who can make music as good as this at 16, resulting in me sitting here in some sort of envious admiration of them. This one is also a heads up to fans of Flume etc., take a listen to their track Make Believe below:

Safe in Houses
I've just found the perfect 'lie down in a darkened room and think of nothing' track from Melbourne's Safe in Houses. Take a listen below:
Leaks
I'm pretty sure I said the exact same thing like two days ago, but whatever's going on in Australia at the moment it's working, I'm receiving fantastic submissions left-right-and-centre from over there. And here I have an absolutely beautiful piece of music from Melbourne-based Leaks. I don't know what it is about those vocals, but they're heart-breaking. Stay is taken from the De Landa EP forthcoming on Absent Fever, stream below:

Snakadaktal

This track is super interesting, it's from a Melbourne band called Snakadaktal and it's called Dance Bear. It seesaws between these soft verses that could easily be mistaken for a cut from an xx album and an explosive chorus which I have to admit kind of caught me by surprise a little when I first heard it. But that whole contrast works really well, it's a blending of styles which I don 't think can be pulled off too easy by most, but Snakadaktal have it down to perfection. Stream Dance Bear below:
