Belgian composer Olivier Désir (aka Karl OFF) is a member of the Radio OFF musical collective, he produces wonderfully intelligent tracks such as this & his EP Horses, Guns & Chipsets is out on Bandcamp tomorrow (15/03).

Huntleys + Palmers (Sophie,  Auntie Flo) first release of 2014 comes from anonymous producer DrumTalk - a hugely listenable tussle between exuberance & melancholy. Take a listen ^.

Koloto

The Bad Panda fam offer up another fantastic free download from Bristolian producer Edapollo with Breathing Lessons. The whole thing runs like liquid, absorbing the glitches to create a perfect cocktail of sound. Download below:

Cameo Pink

I have very little info on Cameo Pink, all I can really tell you is that he/she/they sound bloody good. Treasure is the second track which has a sort of Maribou State/Pedestrian vibe to it, with some Jamie xx style steel sounds (try saying that out loud) thrown in for good measure. Listen below:

Damocles

Atlanta's Damocles is releasing The Clear Sound on November 10th. It's a beautiful album which touches upon the experimental, the ambient & the interesting. You can stream my personal favourites below, but the whole thing is up for previewing over at Bandcamp.

Vondelpark

Those who read regularly may be familiar with the fact that I am basically a Vondelpark super-fan and I'm not afraid to admit it. Take a listen to the trio's delightful dub mix they put together for Pale, and expect to hear this played in every bar or club you walk into for the foreseeable future.

I'm reaching out to all you Boards of Canada fans out there once again and pressing on with the apparent ambient instrumental theme I have going on this week with the introduction of inherent. I could go on for a while about how this reminds me so much of rain falling or waves lulling...a lot of water basically, but I'll spare you the poetic verse and advise you to take a listen to Seventy and Zuma below, you can also treat yourself to a couple of free downloads if you like:

MunDane

I just received my first taste of NYC producer MunDane, and I like it a lot....like a lot a lot. He's just released an EP called Small Apartment which can only really be described as a beautiful and interesting exploration of electronic sound. Already I'm a big fan, you can stream a couple of tracks taken from the EP  below:






Also worth checking out is this super nice Blue Hawaii remix, in which he really does justice to what I personally think is the best track of the year (so far).

Gross Gross Girls

On the whole, trap-style percussion is a huge dislike of mine, but Gross Gross Girls (who makes music way more beautiful than the name suggests) has me thinking twice with new track Bloom. It turns out that trap percussion isn't always a negative thing when you know what you're doing with it, especially when paired with warm, swirling synths and dreamlike vocal samples. It's actually a proper Summer here in England, I think for the first time in my 21 years of existence, Ibiza has nothing on this. Oh and it's also Friday - so grab a free one from one of Polska's finest; Klaves to celebrate:

Alma Elste

Parisian newcomer Alma Elste is a name to remember, whose track Virtualism sounds like the start of something very promising. Lyrically, the vocals are a little Lana Del Rey but the voice is beautiful and the synths are swirly - all in all it's more than listenable. Hear it for yourself below:

L'umanoide

Big love to Believe in Sound for introducing me to this track from Aussie duo L'umanoide. Their Civil/Excursion 7″ was recently released through Mojikit, the label who were responsible for releasing that excellent debut EP from Harbours. Give Civil a listen below:

Parisian producer Kuage serves up a slice of summer with the infectious A Part of You. This one is for fans of Maribou State, Pedestrian and so on. So go outside and go dance to this somewhere with all your friends:

Moonrags

London duo Moonrags prove for a second time that they're really ones to watch out for with their new track Games. It's such a good transition from Down Days, musically continuing that same summery calm. But lyrically, it's as though there's a narrative that flows between the two tracks; a change in mood from loss to freedom, something which makes me ever more interested in the pair. Take a listen below:

Gold Panda

Regal Safari

Regal Safari's new track Closer kind of proves that the innately human desire to define everything is becoming increasingly lost in the world of music; where influences are drawn from completely opposing corners of a constantly fluctuating spectrum. This is also the strongest the duo has ever been, as Dan Snaith-esc. vocals echo around quivering guitars and fuzzy synths - it's the sound we've been waiting for all along. Stream below:

Py.

It was pretty much a year ago when Py released her Tripping on Wisdom mixtape. Collaborating with the likes of George Fitzgerald and Throwing Snow, it turned out to be one of the standout releases of the year in which she basically brought together all that was good about electronic music at the time. June 30th sees the release of her highly anticipated follow-up Polyethers, it's produced by Jimmy Edgar and is every bit as special as I'd hoped it to be. Stream below:
