Edapollo

The Bad Panda fam offer up another fantastic free download from Bristolian producer Edapollo with Breathing Lessons. The whole thing runs like liquid, absorbing the glitches to create a perfect cocktail of sound. Download below:

Gross Gross Girls

On the whole, trap-style percussion is a huge dislike of mine, but Gross Gross Girls (who makes music way more beautiful than the name suggests) has me thinking twice with new track Bloom. It turns out that trap percussion isn't always a negative thing when you know what you're doing with it, especially when paired with warm, swirling synths and dreamlike vocal samples. Grab a free download on behalf of Bad Panda below:

Thompost

Sometimes Friday evenings are better spent doing absolutely nothing, download Ghostly from the superb Thompost for free below:

Wild Heron

These are the rather infectious sounds of Wild Heron, blurring the lines nicely between 90s house and whatever the hell you call the stuff that's floating around at the moment. Listening to this whilst writing university assignments on propaganda in a darkened room is probably the least appropriate context imaginable, but I'm actually having a bloody good time. Listen & download below:

fpodbpod

Some perfect late-night listening from San Fran's fpodbpod (I have no idea how you pronounce that). Listen & download below:

Holobody

Listen to the stunning new single from Canadian duo Holobody. Obviously I had to google what a Ninnyhammer was immediately after listening to this....for anyone who cares, apparently it refers to a scrap of food left after a meal or a question/exclamation mark combined. Wow. It's available to download for free below, so go & enjoy:

Plastic Flowers

This delicate little number comes from a Greek duo called Plastic Flowers. It was already released as a single on Bad Panda a few weeks ago but somehow only turned up in my inbox today. So now I'm probably going to lie somewhere cosy for the next couple hours and stick this on repeat. Grab a free download below:

Dead Times

Some days I check my inbox and I receive stuff I just really don't like. So, when in doubt, I just look at the Bad Panda Soundcloud. Today I heard this track from LA-based production duo Dead Times,  and it pretty much blew me away. I mean, the track title says it all really - slow burning bliss. It's exactly what I needed to hear to get me back into the blogging frame of mind, grab it for free below:

Joel Hood

In terms of blogging, there is no better feeling than receiving music from somebody that sounds like it was made exactly with myself in mind. Obviously it wasn't, I just wish it was. But wow this is good, and what's even more amazing is that Joel himself has only been making music like this for a few months and he comes up with stuff like this.

He's also got big things coming, releasing a single via Bad Panda Records on September 10th and having just finished a remix for Chris Coco's Melodica label, I guarantee a whole lot of people will know who he is in a month or two. Stream Teardrops & Campanero below:

GHOSTGIRL

This is the kind of music that sends a shiver or two down your spine, but it's oddly addictive - like you secretly enjoy it and you're left hungry for more each time you press play. These are the sounds of GHOSTGIRL (even the name is creepy), and she's hooked up with favourites of mine Bad Panda Records to release her single LAMB/WOLF. As with any Bad Panda release it's free to download, so take a listen below:
