Dash Positive
Instrumental hip-hop never seems to have a grey area - it's always either incredible or boring and unimaginative. This track from Santa Barbara producer Dash Positive fits very neatly into the 'incredible' category. Warm is the most wonderful amalgamation of orchestral sounds and beats, nodding towards artists such as Bonobo & Emancipator.

Bonobo
I simply couldn't resist sharing this massive Bonobo remix of London Grammar's Hey Now. As you can imagine, there's no need to dress this up in pretty words as one of the best producers of this past decade teams up with one of the biggest buzz bands of the past year or two. All you need to do is press play & listen to one of the most exciting releases of the month.
January minimix
As of now I'm starting a new thing. Once a month, I'm going to attempt (poorly)to make and post some sort of mix of the new and not so new stuff I've been cuddling up to that month, ideally this will create some kind of wonderful playlist for you all but who knows; maybe I could be the next David G? This is number one.
