twyaen

twyaen are a Welsh duo based in London, who are kind enough to provide us with a giant, melodic hug in the form of their debut single Keep on Waiting. This is a beautiful introduction to the pair; gentle, laid-back and smooth with a soulfulness to it which kind of reminds me of Rhye, the quality of which is pretty much a sure indication that we'll be hearing a lot about them from now on. DJ Hawaii

I kind of thought Summer was fading out a little, yesterday I wore a coat for the first time in months. But then I heard DJ Hawaii; nothing too complicated, just a nice bit of sax, some Bongos, and a smooth bass line. So now it seems only appropriate to go and salvage that inflatable paddling pool with a 99 flake in one hand, and a giant Mojito-filled ice bucket in the other.
